BRIAN WILSON WITH THE BOSTON POPS The Beach Boys maestro, joined by Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin, is celebrating the 50th anniversary of his art-pop milestone “Pet Sounds” by playing the album start-to-finish, reportedly for the last time. Two Boston shows sold out in a heartbeat, but you can still go west. June 19, 2:30 p.m. $25-$109. Koussevitzky Music Shed, Tanglewood, Lenox. 888-266-1200, http://www.bso.org

WYE OAK On “Tween,” the latest album from Baltimore expats Jenn Wasner and Andy Stack, lives up to its name: Neither the jangly pop that put them on the map nor the shimmering electronica that made 2014’s “Shriek” a striking departure, “Tween” partakes of both, reworking scraps from years past into lush, dreamy, and fresh forms while clearing the decks for a restless band to move forward. Teeny Lieberson’s joyous TEEN opens. June 19, 9 p.m. $20. The Sinclair, Cambridge. 617-547-5200, http://www.sinclaircambridge.com

NAILS According to a recent profile in extreme-metal bible Decibel, vocalist-guitarist Todd Jones and his lacerating punk-metal trio faced one serious problem in making their Nuclear Blast label debut this year: stretching to hit the 30-minute mark. The result, “You Will Never Be One of Us,” just qualifies, but packs an oversize wallop within its concise duration. June 21, 8 p.m. $15. Middle East Downstairs, Cambridge. 617-864-3278, http://www.mideastclub.com

DOLLY PARTON A country-music legend and pop-culture icon, Parton comes to town as part of her biggest tour in two decades, digging deep into her catalog of many wonders as she fetes the release of “Pure & Simple With Dolly’s Biggest Hits,” a two-CD set that sprinkles new songs among her classics. June 21, 8 p.m. $69-$249. Citi Wang Theatre. 800-982-2787, http://www.citicenter.org
